SEAT Conference Intern Information, Requirements & Application

Apply to be an Intern for the SEAT Conference and you will have the opportunity to meet, greet and network with hundreds of sport & entertainment global executives as well as some of the most innovative technology companies across the World!

Internship Application Process:

  1. Review and understand the Intern Criteria/Requirements below.
  2. Review the dates to ensure that you will be able to to work/support the dates for the conference you are applying.
  3. You must have a LinkedIn account to apply for an internship. If you do not have one, please create one before applying - it will only take about 20 minutes to set-up a profile but this is a must for business networking for your career.
  4. Complete the Internship Application below with all fields completed, including a head-shot, resume and summary write-up.
  5. Upon receipt of your application and information, the SEAT team will review your information and contact you to schedule a brief phone or Skype interview.
  6. After all interviews have been completed, you will be contacted to let you know if you have been accepted as a SEAT Intern.

If you are enrolled in a College Sports Management Program and you meet all of the following Intern Criteria/Requirements,

we welcome for you to apply to be a SEAT Conference Intern!
  1. You must be enrolled in a college sports management or sports-industry type of program with less than 3 years work experience.
  2. As a college student and intern for this program, you must either live in the local town  where the conference is being held and have daily transportation to/from your residence to the conference or be willing to travel at your own expense to the conference location.
  3. You are looking for an opportunity to meet and network with professionals across the industry.
  4. Desire to learn what’s happening in the industry and how you can make a difference building a career in the sports & entertainment industry.
  5. Willing to work the day prior to the conference (prep day) thru the end of the conference. (See detailed schedule below.)
  6. Willing to work in a variety of positions to meet, greet conference attendees, to provide directions, work the registration desk, help in the exhibit hall, support the technology exhibitors, hold microphones in the conference rooms during sessions & support the conference management.
  7. You fully understand that the days are long and very busy but fun and exciting!
  8. Keep a constant smile and be ready and willing to learn, grow and be a part of an exciting sports technology conference!
  9. You fully understand that this is not a paid position.
  10. This is a position that will provide you the opportunity to meet sports & entertainment industry professionals from across the world for future employment opportunities.
  11. This is a position that will provide you the opportunity to listen to some of the most innovative and thought-provoking panel sessions, discussions and case study presentations across the industry, to learn and to grow as a future professional in the sports and entertainment industry.
  12. You must have a LinkedIn account with updated information & a nice professional-looking photo.
  13. You will be invited to participate in evening networking functions; you will be asked NOT to drink alcohol during the receptions; you will have the opportunity to have fun, be engage & network with sports & entertainment professionals to build industry relationships.

  • Dates/Times Required To Support the Conference:
    • April 26, 2017     7:00 am - 6:00 pm
    • April 27, 2017     7:00 am - 5:00 pm

SEAT 2017 Atlanta

  • City: Atlanta, Georgia - USA
  • Conference Dates: July 16-18, 2017
  • Conference Location:Marriott Marquis, Atlanta
  • Dates/Times Required To Support the Conference:
  • A block of rooms will be provided for Interns to stay on-site to support this large conference. Interns will be paired with a room-mate.
    • Required to arrive on-site Friday July 14, 2017 by 3:00 pm
    • Work begins Conference preparation & set-up July 14, 2017 by 4:30 pm
    • Work Schedule to support the conference Saturday, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday 7:30 am - 6:00 pm
    • You will be invited to join evening networking & special events for relationship-building opportunities.
    • Hotel check-out is Wednesday morning  July 19, 2017
